TULSA, Okla. (April 23, 2018) – In the ultimate of all warm-up concerts, QuikTrip (QT), BOK Center and Pepsi are throwing a free street party prior to both of George Strait’s sold-out Tulsa performances at BOK Center on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:15PM.
On Friday, June 1, country artist Jerrod Niemann will deliver a free performance just outside of BOK Center. Community members can attend regardless of whether they have tickets to the George Strait concert. The street party will feature food trucks, prize wheels and fresh sub sandwich samples from QT. Niemann’s performance will begin at 5:30 PM.
On Saturday, June 2, Grammy and ACM award-winner Joe Diffie will perform a free concert at the same site outside of the BOK Center. The Tulsa native is a member of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. The Saturday street party will also feature food trucks, prize wheels and fresh sub sandwich samples from QT. Diffie’s performance will begin at 5:30 PM.

We want to get the party off to a great start by joining forces with our terrific partners, Pepsi and the BOK Center, to throw a fun, family-friendly event,” said Mendi Parker, QuikTrip’s manager of store marketing, PR and events. “Jerrod Niemann and Joe Diffie are crowd pleasers. We are excited to bring them to both to town and create a fun street party atmosphere before the king of country music takes to the stage at the BOK Center.”
