OVERLAND, MO (June 23, 2014) – QuikTrip, one of the nation’s premier convenience and gasoline marketers, today officially launched its fresh, made-to-order menu of food, premium drinks and frozen treats in St. Louis. Customers will be able to order fresh, made-to-order food at the new QT Kitchens full-service counters each day from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Thirty-one St. Louis QuikTrip locations are currently offering the new QT Kitchens menu, with most area stores making the conversion to full service counters by December of this year. QuikTrip is in the process of installing the QT Kitchens full service counter in the vast majority of it’s (soon to be 700) stores across the U.S., providing this fast, fresh and convenient option to its valued customers.

“We are very excited to bring our new QT Kitchens concept to St. Louis,” said Chet Cadieux, QuikTrip Chairman and CEO. “We can’t wait for St. Louis area residents to try our newest fresh foods and premium drinks we’ve been working so hard to develop for this new concept launch.”

The new QT Kitchens menu includes breakfast sandwiches, flatbreads, gourmet toasted sandwiches, made-to-order personal pizzas, pizza-by-the-slice, specialty coffee drinks, frozen lemonades, smoothies, and ice cream treats, to name a few.

QuikTrip has long been a favorite of customers who appreciate and admire its clean stores, friendly customer service, and over-the-top variety of cold drinks, hot coffees, teas and grab-and-go food items. The new QT Kitchens provide even more choices, with high quality food and flavor – made-to-order.

To accompany the new QT Kitchens launch in St. Louis, QuikTrip is also celebrating a company milestone on Thursday, June 26 with the opening of its 700th store nationwide. To honor this milestone, QuikTrip is hosting a public event at the 700th store located at 9404 Page Avenue in Overland, Mo.

St. Louis and surrounding area residents are invited to join QuikTrip at this location for a day filled with food and beverage samplings, drum line performances, a prize wheel with a variety of giveaway items and more. Overland Mayor Mike Schneider will join Cadieux in a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 7 a.m. to kick off the day’s festivities. Special appearances by a Budweiser Clydesdale (10 a.m. - 12 p.m.), Fred Bird and Team Fred Bird (1 - 3 p.m.) and the St. Louis Rams cheerleaders (3 - 5 p.m.) will take place throughout the day. In honor of this significant company milestone, QuikTrip will bring the fun-filled day to a close by offering customers in the St. Louis metropolitan area one free Big Q drink, an offer which is available at all area St. Louis QuikTrip locations from 7- 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014.

Pizza By The Slice – A warm, crispy oven-rising dough topped with savory tomato sauce and melted cheese – available in two varieties: our classic pepperoni or loaded with fresh toppings in our supreme.

With your choice of cheese, marinara or icing.

Classic- Warm, soft and buttery pretzel served with or without salt.
